| Abstract: | The aim of this study is to examine how teenage boys
perceive the public library. How do they utilize the resources
provided by a public library? What are their thoughts
regarding what a public library offers in terms of services to
its visitors? Four qualitative interviews with teenage boys
were done for the purpose of this study. The study shows
that these individuals perceive the library as a resource for
youngsters, women, elders or people with disabilities or
special needs, but not themselves. |
